Lamb and Flag

food drink

The Lamb and Flag is a historic pub on Saint Giles’ Street, distinguished by the narrow stone passage running along its southern side. Established in its current location in sixteen thirteen, the building operates under the ownership of Saint John’s College, an association signaled by its name. The lamb and flag are traditional symbols of Saint John the Baptist, the patron of the college, and they appear here as a direct reference to that connection.
