The Record Parlour sits on Selma Avenue, defined by its floor-to-ceiling stacks of vinyl and an collection of restored, mid-twentieth-century audio equipment. It opened in August two thousand thirteen, founded by Chris Honetschlaeger and Chadwick Hemus. Rather than functioning as a standard retail space, the shop was built to serve as an emporium for vintage entertainment, filling its floor with refurbished turntables, jukeboxes, and amplifiers alongside approximately thirty thousand records.
