The Willows Historic Palm Springs Inn

The Willows Historic Palm Springs Inn is identified by a fifty-foot waterfall that cascades down the rugged mountainside directly behind the property. Built into the bedrock in nineteen twenty-four, this Mediterranean-style villa was commissioned by William and Nella Mead and designed by architect William J. Dodd. It served as a private retreat during the early development of Palm Springs, later becoming the winter estate of the prominent New York attorney Samuel Untermyer.
