Keating Hotel By At Mine Hospitality

The Keating Hotel is a five-story Romanesque Revival building defined by its red brick facade and white accents. Completed in eighteen ninety-one, the structure was commissioned by Fannie Keating as a tribute to her late husband, George Keating, who had died shortly after they moved to San Diego from Kansas. The building was designed by the Reid Brothers, who are also responsible for the Hotel del Coronado. When it opened, it was one of the most prestigious office spaces in the city, offering advanced features like steam heat and an elevator.
