USS Midway Museum

The USS Midway Museum is a sprawling, gray-hulled aircraft carrier permanently moored at Navy Pier. It is the longest-serving carrier of the twentieth century, commissioned in nineteen forty-five and active until nineteen ninety-two. The ship rises high above the waterline, its massive flight deck crowded with over thirty restored naval aircraft, including fighter jets and helicopters that span decades of aviation history.
