On April fourth, nineteen eighty-six, a massive explosion devastated the three-story Bayview Building at ten-seventy Revere Avenue. The blast and the subsequent fire leveled the structure, which housed over one hundred twenty-five light industrial businesses and artist studios, and damaged properties across an entire city block.
