The Bayview Opera House at four thousand seven hundred five Third Street is an Italianate Victorian building designed by architect Henry Geilfuss in eighteen eighty-eight. It stands out for its age, as it is the oldest theater building in San Francisco and one of the few local structures that survived the earthquake and fire of nineteen oh six.
