Duboce Ave view

Duboce Avenue is marked by the unique, direct integration of public parkland with residential architecture. In the Duboce Park Landmark District, houses abut the park directly without an intervening roadway, a design feature that remains rare in San Francisco. The avenue serves as the southern edge of this green space, which was originally intended to be a hospital site before its designation as a public reservation in the nineteenth century.
