Women's Building

The Women's Building is a four-story, white stucco structure instantly recognizable by the monumental mural, MaestraPeace, that covers two of its exterior facades. Completed in nineteen ninety-four, this vibrant artwork features historical and sacred female figures from across the globe, reaching five stories in height. The building was originally constructed in nineteen ten as the Mission Turn Hall for the German Turnverein Society and later served as Dovre Hall, a community hub for various ethnic and social groups.
