Liberty Street Historic District (San Francisco, California)

The Liberty Street Historic District stands out for its dense concentration of fifty-one residential buildings that span the architectural evolution of the late nineteenth century. These two blocks, situated between Valencia and Guerrero Streets, contain a collection of middle-class homes representing nearly every style prevalent between eighteen sixty-seven and nineteen eleven, including early Italianate, San Francisco Stick, Stick-Eastlake, Queen Anne, and vernacular Classical Revival.
