Willie Mays Gate

The Willie Mays Gate serves as the main entrance to Oracle Park. You can identify the area by the nine-foot-tall bronze statue of Willie Mays positioned directly in front of the gate. Sculpted by William Behrends and unveiled in two thousand, the statue depicts the legendary center fielder following through on his swing. The gate is located at twenty-four Willie Mays Plaza, an address chosen to honor the uniform number he wore throughout his career with the San Francisco Giants.
