The Truhlsen-Marmor Museum of the Eye occupies the American Academy of Ophthalmology headquarters building at the corner of Beach and Hyde Streets in the Fisherman’s Wharf neighborhood. It is the only museum in the world dedicated to the science, history, and wonder of sight. The exhibits include an enormous interactive eye model that shows the mechanics of vision by allowing a view through its pupil.
