The Dahlia Dell is a sunken, circular garden set just east of the Conservatory of Flowers, identifiable by a black metal fence enclosing over seven hundred dahlia plants. These flowers have been grown in Golden Gate Park since the eighteen eighties, and the site serves as a dedicated showcase for the official flower of San Francisco.
