Statue of John J. Pershing (San Francisco)

The statue of General John J. Pershing stands near the eastern end of the Music Concourse in Golden Gate Park. It is a seven-and-a-half-foot tall bronze figure of the military leader, mounted on a five-foot granite pedestal within a square plot marked by a granite border. The statue is positioned along the formal central axis of the park's concert area, directly across from the Spreckels Temple of Music.
