The John Spencer House is a four-story Queen Anne mansion at one thousand eighty Haight Street, identifiable by its sharp, triangular profile that resembles a flatiron. Built in eighteen ninety-five and designed by architect Frederick P. Rabin, the structure occupies a corner lot where it stands as the only exclusively residential flatiron building in San Francisco.
