Sinai Memorial Chapel is a large, impressive stone building with a traditional yet modern presence on Divisadero Street. Founded in nineteen oh one as the Hebrew Funeral Parlors, it began as a benevolent society dedicated to providing burials for community members who could not afford the costs.
