The Potrero Hill neighborhood in San Francisco experienced a significant loss in April twenty-twenty-three when a collection of buses stored near Twenty-Third Street and Pennsylvania Avenue caught fire. Among the vehicles destroyed in the blaze were several privately owned, small buses that had sat parked beneath the Interstate Two-Eighty overpass. Fire investigators examined the scene to determine the cause of the fire, as the collection of vehicles appeared abandoned to many who passed by in the industrial Dogpatch area.
