La Doña RESILIENT Mural

The mural of the musician La Doña stands on the side of the Casa Guadalupe supermarket at the corner of Mission and Twenty-Sixth Streets. The artwork features a large portrait of the native San Franciscan artist Cecilia Peña-Govea, known professionally as La Doña, wearing a zip-up San Francisco Giants jacket. Her eyes look out from between the letters of the word RESILIENT, which is written in bold, capitalized characters across the wall.
