Edwin Klockars' Blacksmith Shop is a two-story wood-frame building at four hundred forty-three Folsom Street. You can identify it by the shaped parapet hiding its flat roof and the simplified Mission Revival style of its front facade. Built in nineteen twelve for toolmaker Fred Valentine Wilbert, it was once one of many foundries South of Market Street that manufactured parts for mining machinery, ships, and railroads.
