The Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe at nine hundred six Broadway is easily identified by the twin towers that rise above the corner of Mason Street. Consecrated in nineteen twelve, this building replaced an earlier church from eighteen eighty that burned during the nineteen oh six earthquake and fire. Designed by architects Frank T. Shea and John D. Lofquist, the structure was among the first in the city to be built of reinforced concrete.
