Croissant D'Or Patisserie

Croissant D'Or Patisserie occupies a high-ceilinged space at six seventeen Ursulines Avenue, a storefront defined by its distinctive white-tiled walls and an arched interior layout. These architectural details are vestiges of the building's original tenant, Angelo Brocato, who established his famous Italian ice cream parlor here after moving from Decatur Street. Brocato modeled the shop after the elegant parlors he knew from his apprenticeship in Palermo, Sicily, and the space maintained that role for decades until nineteen eighty-one.
