Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop Bar

Lafitte’s Blacksmith Shop Bar sits at the corner of Bourbon and St. Philip Streets, distinguished by its rough, exposed brick masonry, askew window shutters, and a low-slung, weathered profile. Constructed in the seventeen seventies during Spanish colonial rule, the building features the traditional French Louisiana style known as briquette-entre-poteaux, where bricks are set between heavy wooden posts.
