Pat O'Brien's

food drink

Pat O'Brien's is marked by a distinctive courtyard featuring a large fountain that often flames, sitting behind a building constructed in seventeen ninety-one. Originally established as a speakeasy called Mr. O'Brien's Club Tipperary where guests whispered the password "storm's brewin'" to enter, the business transitioned into a legal establishment on December third, nineteen thirty-three, shortly after the end of Prohibition. It moved to its current location at seven eighteen St. Peter Street in nineteen forty-two to accommodate growing crowds.
