The Bicentennial Carillon stands at the northern edge of Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park, defined by fifty columns arranged around the circular Court of Three Stars. This musical landmark consists of ninety-five bells, each representing one of the ninety-five counties of Tennessee. The columns are placed to create a surround-sound experience for anyone walking through the plaza.
