City Park is identifiable by the cluster of relocated nineteenth-century buildings, including a church, a school, and the Millermore mansion, spread across twenty-two acres of green space. Established in eighteen seventy-six as the first municipal park in Dallas, the site grew around the natural Browder Springs, which once served as the city's primary water source.
