Pioneer Plaza

Pioneer Plaza is a four-acre public park defined by a monumental bronze cattle drive that appears to charge across the landscape. The scene features three cowboys on horseback urging a herd of longhorn steers forward through a man-made stream and over limestone cliffs. Created by artist Robert Summers and installed in nineteen ninety-four, the sculptures are larger than life, with the individual steer standing six feet tall.
