The Musical Art Garden is a stretch of public murals and creative installations located along the Good Latimer Expressway, tucked directly underneath the I-345 highway overpass. This project was conceived by artist Jerod DTOX Davies to transform a long-neglected transit corridor into a gateway for the Deep Ellum neighborhood. The site uses the theme of new growth, layering colorful depictions of native flora and magical trees over portraits of influential North Texas musicians.
