Plaza of the Americas is defined by its massive, glass-enclosed atrium, which rises thirteen stories and connects two distinct twenty-five-story office towers to a hotel. When this complex opened in nineteen eighty, it stood as the largest development project in the southwest. It was the first truly mixed-use development in downtown Dallas, designed to bring office, retail, and hospitality space together under a single, enormous skylight.
