Encore Park is defined by the three-story Zigzag Moderne building at five hundred eight Park Avenue, easily identified by its striking geometric ornamentation. Originally constructed in nineteen twenty-nine as a film exchange and warehouse for Warner Brothers, the site later housed a third-floor recording studio for Brunswick Records. In the nineteen thirties, this small studio became a hub for regional music where legendary blues artist Robert Johnson recorded his final songs.
