Museum railway station is marked by the distinctive roundel design on its signage, a style inspired by the London Underground. Located beneath the southern end of Hyde Park, this heritage-listed site opened on December twenty, nineteen twenty-six. It was one of the first two underground railway stations in Australia, serving as part of the initial eastern city line that ran from Central to St James.
