Quay Quarter is defined by the Quay Quarter Tower, a skyscraper that stands out for its twisting geometry and stacked appearance. The building is composed of five distinct volumes that rotate as they rise, creating a pattern of glass-walled blocks that reach toward the harbor. While it appears entirely new, the tower is an example of adaptive reuse. It incorporates the core and structural framework of the former AMP Centre, a building completed on this site in nineteen seventy-six.
