The House with the Head, located at Shipka Street number thirty-eight, is distinguished by the stone sculpture of a woman’s face carved into a column near the entrance. Designed by architect Georgi Fingov and completed around nineteen oh nine, the building serves as a prominent example of the Secession style in Sofia. Fingov originally created the home for his own family, intending it to be a masterwork of his artistic vision, yet he sold the property just a few years later.
