Confederation Park

park garden

Confederation Park is a flat, two-point-six-hectare green space defined by a large, central fountain made of Peterhead granite. This water feature holds a distinct history, having stood for over a century in London’s Trafalgar Square before it was brought to Ottawa and installed here in the nineteen-sixties. Today, the park serves as a quiet expanse of lawn and paved paths situated between Elgin Street and the Rideau Canal.
