The Pasture consists of seven life-sized bronze cows resting in the Toronto-Dominion Centre courtyard. Created by Canadian artist Joe Fafard, these sculptures were first installed in nineteen eighty-five. Fafard, who grew up on a farm in Saskatchewan, drew inspiration from his childhood observations of animals to create the herd.
