Cecil Community Centre

The Cecil Community Centre is a Romanesque Revival building at fifty-eight Cecil Street. It is distinguished by its heavy, fortress-like stone exterior and the large Roman arches over its north-facing windows. Architects Knox and Elliott designed the structure in eighteen ninety as the Church of Christ. Its use changed over the following decades to reflect the neighborhood's evolving demographics.
