Philosopher's Walk is a winding, tree-lined path that follows the historic ravine of Taddle Creek through the University of Toronto’s St. George campus. Flanked by academic buildings and open lawns, the trail runs north to south between Bloor Street West and Hoskin Avenue. Its northern entrance is marked by the Queen Alexandra Gateway, a stone structure with serpent-headed lampposts originally erected in nineteen oh one.
