Buddies in Bad Times Theatre

Buddies in Bad Times Theatre, located at twelve Alexander Street, holds the distinction of being the largest and longest-running queer theatre company in the world. Its name comes from a Jacques Prévert poem, and it has occupied this building since nineteen ninety-four, situated near the heart of Toronto’s gay village. The structure originally housed Toronto Workshop Productions, and before that, it served as a warehouse.
