Training Center of the Spanish Cooperation

cultural

The Training Center of the Spanish Cooperation occupies the historic Claustro de Santo Domingo, a large stone building recognizable by its massive, arched colonial architecture and position on the plaza of the same name. Created by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation, the center relocated to this site in two thousand four following an extensive restoration project. The restoration was carried out in partnership with the local Escuela Taller Cartagena de Indias after the building had fallen into a state of severe disrepair.
