The Grisogono Palace is marked by its position at the intersection of the Peristyle and the ancient decumanus, the primary east-to-west street of Diocletian’s Palace. This historic structure, once a Roman site, became the residence of the noble Grisogono family during the thirteenth century when they incorporated it into a larger Romanesque complex.
