Stadion Stari Plac is recognizable by its low, weathered concrete walls and the modest, open-air pitch that sits in the heart of Split. Long before it became the home of Rugby Club Nada, this site was a dusty military training ground for the Austrian army, known to locals as Krajeva njiva, or the King's Field.
