Split Riva

The Riva is a palm-lined, white stone promenade that stretches along the southern edge of the Old Town, defined by its uninterrupted view of the Adriatic Sea and the towering southern wall of Diocletian’s Palace. It functions as the city’s primary public gathering space, a sun-drenched strip where the ancient walls of the Roman emperor’s retirement residence meet the modern pulse of Split.
