Amaliehaven

Amaliehaven is a small, rectangular park nestled between the waterfront and Amalienborg Palace. It is distinguished by its precise, symmetrical design, which features a prominent central fountain and two levels of garden space enclosed by walls and hedges. Inaugurated in nineteen eighty-three, the park was a gift to the city from the A.P. Møller and Chastine McKinney Møller Foundation. It was designed by the Belgian landscape architect Jean Delogne and includes sculptures created by the Italian artist Arnaldo Pomodoro.
