The Square Amadou-Hampâté-Bâ is a small, eight-hundred-eighty-one square meter park located in the tenth arrondissement of Paris. You can identify this space by its location within the modern Jemmapes Grange-aux-Belles urban development, situated between the rue Boy-Zelenski and the place Robert-Desnos. Built in nineteen seventy-eight by architects Jacques Labro and Jean-Jacques Orzoni, the site occupies a portion of the city where the notorious Montfaucon gibbet stood until the eighteenth century.
