The Porte de la Gare is defined by two massive, forty-meter-tall concrete silos that rise above the southern edge of the thirteenth arrondissement. These structures border the area where the old Thiers wall once created a passage into the city. Today, this industrial landmark is recognizable at night by a multicolored light installation that shifts according to data from solar activity.
