The Parvis des Droits de l’Homme is an expansive, elevated stone esplanade that separates the two curved wings of the Palais de Chaillot. You can identify this space by its sweeping, unobstructed view across the Seine toward the Eiffel Tower. Created in the mid-nineteen thirties, the site functions as the rooftop terrace for the Théâtre national de la danse located directly beneath it.
