The Placa Conmemorativa Argentina is a stone bas-relief mounted to the wall at number one rue d'Argentine. This marker exists as a gesture of diplomatic gratitude between two nations. On May twenty-fifth, nineteen forty-eight, the Argentine ambassador Julio Victorica Roca presented the work to the city of Paris. It honors the municipal council for renaming the street, formerly known as rue d'Obligado, in recognition of the bond between Argentina and France.
