Hippodrome de Pantin

The Hippodrome de Pantin once stood in the Parc de la Villette as a towering yellow and blue circus tent. Constructed in nineteen seventy-four, it featured a faux neo-classical front and served as the Paris home for the Jean Richard Circus. While it originally housed equestrian performances and ice shows, the venue became a major destination for rock concerts after nineteen eighty, when other local music halls closed their doors.
