The Promenade Cesária Évora is a narrow, elongated park distinguished by its colorful urban lounges and vibrant green landscaping that stretch through a modern neighborhood. It occupies the former site of the Macdonald warehouses, a massive industrial structure that once dominated this northern corner of the nineteenth arrondissement. Following the demolition of those warehouses, the site underwent a complete urban transformation to reconnect the canal Saint-Denis with the surrounding community.
