The Église Saint-François-Xavier is identifiable by its imposing facade featuring two square towers, positioned prominently on the place du Président-Mithouard. Construction of this church began in eighteen sixty-one as part of a wave of religious building projects under the Second Empire, eventually concluding in eighteen seventy-three. It was designed by the architect Adrien-Louis Lusson, who looked to the style of Roman basilicas for his plans.
