The Saint-Louis Chapel sits at the heart of the École Militaire, marked by its position within the complex’s main north wing overlooking the grand esplanade. Designed by the royal architect Ange-Jacques Gabriel and completed in seventeen seventy-three, this space displays a series of Corinthian columns and a low-slung vaulted ceiling. It was commissioned by King Louis the Fifteenth to provide a place of worship for the cadets of the military academy.
